Let's be real now, people don't choose to be gay. It's not possible to be "voluntarily gay" or turn gay at will. It's not a choice, therefore there's nothing morally unacceptable about it in and of itself. It's not controllable -- my guess is that it's some kind of hormonal imbalance-related disorder, just like paraphilias.
